スウェーデンの首都、ストックホルムを拠点に、Yung Lean、Merely、Viagra Boys、Nadia Tehran、Bladeeなどが所属するレーベル〈YEAR0001〉からbod [包家巷]の多面的アートアルバム『Music for Self Esteem』が4月30日にリリース。

 

ベルリン拠点で、中国をルーツに持つアメリカ生まれのアーティストbod [包家巷]はこれまでに〈Danse Noire〉〈Quantum Natives〉〈Yegorka〉などから作品を発表し、ヴィジュアルアーティストとしても様々なアーティストの作品に関わってきた。インターネットコミュニティで育まれたデジタルサウンドスケープとコンテポラリーアートの融合を作品に緻密に表現される本作は音楽、詩、ビジュアルアート、パフォーマンスを通して語られる壮大な物語。穏やかなピアノのメロディー、混沌としたノイズ、ダンスミュージックの断片、中国の伝統的な楽器、スポークンワード、ASMRなどが37トラックというボリュームで体感できる。
