──自己紹介をお願いします。

 

Acid Stereo : ネオペレオ、レゲトン、デコンストラクテッド・クラブ、ポップスのアーティスト兼プロデューサーで、”Acid Stereo”として知られているDhilan Granda Lozadaです。ペルーのリマ出身で17歳です。

 

──音楽に興味を持ち始めたのはいつ頃ですか？これまでに聴いた作品、学んだ文化や影響を受けた音楽について教えてください。

 

Acid Stereo : 私が音楽に興味を持ち始めたのは2020年、パンデミックが始まった15歳の頃で、「Dahn Gogh」という名前でYouTubeの動画を作り始めました。音楽制作に興味を持ったのは、その頃に台頭していた「ベッドルームポップ」のアーティストの波があったからで、音楽制作について学ぶことに興味がありました。年月が経ち、2000年代のリバイバルがあり、それに伴って往年のレゲトンサウンドが現れ、それらのサウンドを試す機会が訪れました。

 

私のプロデュース方法や音楽世界の捉え方に影響を与えた作品には、Daddy Yankeeの「Gasolina」があります。アグレッシブな響きで、バイクの音とドラムと組み合わさって、独特のディストピア的な雰囲気を生み出している。レゲトンやネオペレオのプロデュース方法に影響を与えたもう1つの作品は、Lady Gagaの「Bad Romance」です。私の好きなアーティストの最も象徴的な曲であり、そのコンテクストという点では、時代のパラメーターを打ち破った曲です。そして、間違いなく “Acid Stereo”を “創造 “した作品は、ROSALÍAの「BIZCOCHITO」です。ファーストなサウンドと操作された声に触発され、自分の声でも同じことをやってみたくなった。自分の声を実験し、Acid Stereoとしての自分を世界に提示するための「仮面」を作り、さらに幅広い実験ができるようになりました。

 

アーティストとしての成長の中で存在したカルチャーのひとつは、Y2Kカルチャー、Barrioという古いカルチャーです。その美学と響きが私をアーティストとして成長させてくれた。”コインを裏返す” ことによって、アナログ・シンセサイザーの特徴的なサウンドの可能性と、それが私にもたらす可能性を見たんです。

 

 

──あなたの音楽は、レゲトンやラテン音楽の可能性を更新し、拡張しているように思います。そのインスピレーションの源は何ですか？

 

Acid Stereo : 全ては色から始まります。私はバイブスと響きで色を見ます。例えば、私のセカンド・スタジオ・アルバム『CYBEROTIKA』では、色彩の観点から美学を形成していて、ネオングリーンと黒が主な色です。その色は私にアバンギャルド、テクノロジーを伝え、 フューチャリズムとアグレッシブさ、 それに従って、私は言葉、イメージ、サウンドが共存する「エコシステム」全体を想像し始める。

 

私にとってのインスピレーションの源であるhyperpopは個人的に大好きなジャンルです。その金切り声のようなサウンドや、攻撃的で予想外のドラムは、私の創造性を高め、そのようなプロダクション・テクニックをすべて私の世界に持ち込むのに役立っている、ラテンやエクスペリメンタルと組み合わせることで、新しいコンセプトを形成することができます。

 

 

──普段の音楽活動の様子を教えてください。

 

Acid Stereo : 毎日、制作用のDAWを開き、アルバムのために、あるいは自分の創造性を刺激し続けるために、新しいビートの制作に取り組んでいる。また、普段はお気に入りの曲を聴き、それを分解して新しい制作テクニックを調べ、自分の仕事の分野に応用するようにしている。

 

──音楽以外の興味も教えてください。

 

Acid Stereo : ファッションとデザインが大好きで、ミュグレーのアバンギャルドなデザインが好き。もうひとつの情熱は美食の世界で、専門的に勉強しているわけではありませんが、趣味として自宅で実践しています。

 

 

──友人のミュージシャンはどんな人がいますか。

 

Acid Stereo : 数少ないミュージシャンの友人がいます。そのうちの一人は TAHIIGOKで、彼は音楽の趣味が良く、何度も私のプロジェクトを助けてくれたし、プロデューサーとしても助けてくれた。もう一人の仲間はWIINTXRで、ネオペレオとラテン音楽のプロデューサーです、彼とは最近知り合ったのですが、私のアイデアを曲のビジュアルに反映させるのをサポートしてくれました。

 

──将来のビジョンについて教えてください。

 

Acid Stereo : 有名なアーティストと一緒にワールドツアーをすること、自分の将来のプロジェクトのツアーで歌って踊るファンを見たり、フェスやアワードやレッドカーペットにいる自分を想像したりする。そして、作品の前衛性と真の意味性によって強い印象を与え、他よりも際立つ本質を常に持ち続けていく。

 

 

 

──I would First, please introduce yourself to AVYSS.

 

Acid Stereo : I’m Dhilan Granda Lozada, known as “Acid Stereo”, artist and producer of neoperreo, reggaeton, deconstructed club and pop, I’m 17 years old and I’m from Lima, Peru.ike to be introduced to them.

 

──When did you become interested in music? Tell me about the works you’ve listened to, the culture you’ve studied and your influences.

 

Acid Stereo : I became interested in music in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, when I was 15 years old, I started making youtube videos with the pseudonym “Dahn Gogh”, I became interested in making music because of the wave of “bedroom pop” artists that were emerging in those times, and I was interested in learning about music production. As the years went by, the revival of the 2000s began, and with it the reggaeton sound of yesteryear, and with it came the opportunity to experiment with those sounds.

 

Some of the works that have influenced my way of producing or perceiving the world of music are, Gasolina by Daddy Yankee, the aggressive sonority combined with the sounds of motorbikes and aggressive drums generate a unique and dystopian atmosphere that influenced my way of producing reggaeton and neoperreo, another of the works that influenced my way of producing is Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, the most iconic song of my favorite artist, a song that in terms of its context, broke with the parameters of the time, giving me the inspiration to risk doing aggressive and out of the ordinary things, and without a doubt the work that “created” “Acid Stereo”, is BIZCOCHITO by ROSALÍA, the fast sounds and manipulated voices inspired me to do the same with my voice, to experiment with it and create a “mask” to present myself to the world as “Acid Stereo” and have an even wider range to experiment with.

 

One of the cultures present in my development as an artist is the Y2K culture, the culture of the “barrio” and the old, its aesthetics and sonority served me to develop as an artist, by “turning the coin over” I saw the potential of the characteristic sounds of analogue synthesizers and the potential that they had for me.

 

──Your music seems to expand the possibilities of reggaeton and Latin music. What are your sources of inspiration and ideas?

 

Acid Stereo : everything starts with colors, I see colors with vibes and sonorities, I form aesthetics in terms of colors, for example with my second studio album “CYBEROTIKA”, the predominant colors are neon green and black, those colors transmit me avant-garde, technology, futurism and aggressiveness, according to that I start to imagine a whole “ecosystem” where words, images and sounds coexist with each other.

 

A great source of inspiration for me is HYPERPOP music, it’s a genre that I personally love, its screeching sounds and aggressive and unexpected drums help me to be creative and bring all those production techniques to my world, combining it with Latin and experimental, thus forming a new concept.

 

──What kind of musical activities do you usually do?

 

Acid Stereo : Every day I open my production DAW, I work every day on new beats, either for albums or to continue stimulating my creativity, I also usually listen to my favorite songs and try to deconstruct them to investigate new production techniques and apply them in my field of work.

 

──What are your interests outside of music?

 

Acid Stereo : I personally love fashion and design, I am very fond of Mugler’s avant-garde designs, it is a great inspiration for me and for my music.

 

Another passion for me is the gastronomic world, I don’t study it professionally, but I still practice it at home as a hobby, as well as music production, it’s something I learned out of passion.

 

──Who are your musician friends? I would like to be introduced to them.

 

Acid Stereo : Well, I have very few musician friends, one of them is “TAHIIGOK”, he is a guy who has good musical tastes, and many times he has helped me to make decisions about my projects, even to help me as a producer. another of my musician friends is “WIINTXR”, a producer of neoperreo and latin music, I met him recently but he helped me to translate my ideas into visuals for my songs.

 

──Tell me about your vision for the future.

 

Acid Stereo : My vision for the future as “Acid Stereo”, I see myself on world tours with renowned artists, even on tours of my future projects, seeing all my fans singing and dancing to my songs, I also imagine myself going to galas, awards and red carpets, and always carrying my essence of making a strong impression and stand out from others by the avant-garde and authenticity of my works.
