100 gecsが、Fall Out Boyらを迎えた「hand crushed by a mallet (Remix)」のMVを公開

コレクティブ〈HELLA〉のメンバーでもあり、ソロとしても〈Mad Decent〉からリリースを重ね、Charli XCX、BROCKHAMPTONのKevin Abstract、Night Lovellともコラボレーションを果たしてきたDylan BradyとLaura Lesによるデュオ、100 gecsが今年7月にリリースしたリミックスアルバム『1000 gecs & The Tree of Clues』から、Fall Out Boy、Craig Owens、Nicole Dollangangerをゲストに迎えて制作された「hand crushed by a mallet (Remix)」のMVを公開。

特にFall Out Boyの参加により、アルバムの中でも最も話題かつインパクトの大きかった同曲のMVは、Travis BrothersやBryan Riveraと共にPost Maloneのアートワークを手がけ、今回のリミックスアルバムのアートワークも手がけたDarío Alvaと、Dorian Electraのヴィジュアルを手がけるWeston Allenによって制作された。

また、全19曲が収録されたリミックスアルバムには他に、Lil West、Tommy Cash、Hannah Diamond、umru、99jakesなどが新たに参加している。

100 gecsが新作アルバム『10000 gecs』から新曲「mememe」をリリース

MVも本日公開ミズーリ州セントルイス出身、Dylan BradyとLaura Lesによるデュオ、100 gecsが来年初頭にリリースされる新作アルバム『10000 gecs』から新曲「mememe」をリリース。MVも本日公開される。アルバム『10000 gecs』は、2016年のEP『100 gecs』、2019年のデビューアルバム『1000 gecs』、2020年のリミックスアルバム『1000 Gecs and the Tree of Clues』に続く作品。アルバム『10000 gecs』は、当初約4000のデモから12曲ほど絞り込まれたが、それらを破棄。新しく制作した楽曲が収録されている。Laura Lesは、オートチューンを使わない曲をあえて増やしたという。 100 gecs – mememe Label : Dog Show Records Release date : 19 November 2021 Stream : https://100gecs.lnk.to/mememe
